KT has gained the upper hand in advancing to the semifinal playoff PO, best-of-five series. KT ace Hur Hoon 29, 180 centimeters desperately wants to win the game more than ever.
KT won the third round of the PO best-of-five series against Hyundai Mobis in the 2023-2024 professional basketball league held at Dongcheon Gymnasium in Ulsan on the 9th, leaving only one win to advance to the semifinals with a total of two wins and one loss.
Hur scored eight points in the fourth quarter alone, leading the team to victory with 18 points and two assists. Hur Hoon, who was selected as a leading player, entered the interview room after the game. Despite his win, Hur didn't look bright. No, he was determined.
"I've been bad at basketball," Hur said. "I saw a lot of opportunities today as well as Paris Bath. I played basketball altruistically. If we play basketball like that from now on, we will become a strong team."
Heo Hoon, who is showing tremendous concentration, is playing earnestly in PO. He has a reason. Since his professional debut, he has played PO three times, but he has never smiled. He has never crossed the first hurdle. He lost two wins and three losses to LG in the 2018-2019 season, and to KGC currently Jeong Kwan-jang in the 2020-2021 season. In the 2021-2022 season, he went straight to the semifinal PO, but lost to KGC with one win and three losses.
"I desperately want to do well. I am preparing as much as I can for this PO as the players are good and the atmosphere is possible. Whenever I play for the PO, I am always desperate," Hur said in exuberant remarks. He has one win left before passing the first round of the PO.
